Major gifts fundraising is rarely just about asking for money.
It's about building relationships, creating a clear donor strategy, and having the confidence to move meaningful conversations forward.
Whether you want ongoing group coaching with a room of peers, or private one-to-one work on your real portfolio, there's a path here for you.
Choose Your Coaching
Same frameworks, same teacher. The difference is the room, the cadence, and how much of me you get. Here is exactly what each one looks like so you can choose with confidence.
Group Coaching
You are in a room with me and a close-knit group of fundraisers who have your job. Twice a month we meet live, work through real donor situations together, and you leave with a plan. Between calls, the community has your back.
What you get
$650/month
Open any time. I ask you for three months, and most members stay for at least a year.

It is just you and me. Every meeting is built around your real portfolio and your real donors, and you have direct access to me between meetings, not just on the call. Your most time-sensitive gift moves first.
What you get
Inside Momentum
Not a syllabus. A rhythm you fall into. Follow the path to see what a couple of weeks really feel like once you are in the room.
Week One
Three other members are wrestling with the same situation you brought. I walk each one through a different approach, and you pick the one that fits your donor. You implement it the next day.

Between Calls
You need a new script for getting in the door with a prospect. You search the Skool library, find what you need, and post a question. You get eight replies from peers, and one from me.

Week Three
First: how do I get past a gatekeeper? You walk away with two tactics you can use immediately. Second: how do I ask a former board member who wants to give but is also jaded? The room helps you find the angle.

After the Call
You download a sample major gift proposal for inspiration, sit down, and write your next ask. The framework is already in your hands. You are not starting from a blank page.

Before a Big Meeting
You have an important meeting coming up with a major prospect. You pull up the course on how to have a donor meeting, rewatch the parts that matter, and walk in ready. It takes twenty minutes and it changes the conversation.

When the Gift Lands
The gift closes. You hop into the community and share the win, because the people in that room understand what it took. The replies roll in, you celebrate together, and then someone asks how you did it, so the whole room learns from your ask too.

Most members come in for three months and stay for a year or more. Momentum is not a course you finish. It is the room you stay in, because the work never stops and neither do the donors.
Inside Private Coaching
It is just you and me, built around your real donors. Here is what the work really feels like week to week.
Your Weekly Call
You hop on your weekly call with Mary. She has already tightened the proposal you are slated to ask next week. Then you deep dive into the ask itself, role play it, and work through the objections you are most afraid of until you can handle them in your sleep.
After the Meeting
You have the meeting and immediately call Mary from the car to debrief. You talk through what the donor said, what it means, and exactly what the follow up looks like. You are not sitting with it alone.
Next Week's Call
You hop on the next week's call and dig into your portfolio together. You walk out with two creative next steps for each of your top ten donors, the kind that move a relationship, not just keep it warm.
Between Calls
You go do the work. You have successes, you hit snags, and you keep Mary posted the whole way. This is where the between-meeting access matters. Donors do not wait for your next scheduled call, and neither do you.
When a Question Hits
A question about board engagement comes up and it cannot wait. You text Mary. You get a real answer, not a ticket number, and you move forward the same day.
Your Next Weekly Call
You get on your next weekly call and talk through how your deliverables are going. Then Mary hands you three creative year-end strategies tailored to your donors, and you leave with a plan you can run the moment you get off the call.
"Within six weeks of starting private coaching with Mary, I closed a $250,000 gift. The weekly meetings kept me focused, accountable, and confident. She helped me see exactly which donors to prioritize and gave me the language to make the ask without freezing. I went from dreading solicitation conversations to looking forward to them."
Jennifer K.
Director of Development, Private Coaching Client
"I was spinning my wheels trying to manage 60+ donors with no real strategy. Mary helped me see that I was spending 80% of my time on donors who would never make a major gift. Within two months of coaching, I had a clear portfolio, a cultivation rhythm, and the confidence to ask for a 7-figure gift. We closed it. I honestly don't recognize the fundraiser I was before working with Mary."

"Mary helped me restructure my entire portfolio in the first month. I went from 80 donors to 20 that actually mattered."

"The frameworks Mary teaches are unlike anything I learned in 15 years of fundraising. Worth every penny."

Bring Mary in to train your entire development team so everyone learns the same language and systems.

Want to dip your toe in?
Come spend a focused day or three with me first. These are the same frameworks I teach my coaching clients, packed into a single live training.
Two and a half days, thirty people, six US cities. Build your entire major gift program from the ground up and leave with a written plan.
Learn MoreFour hours of live solicitation training. Practise the exact words for the ask, and what to say when a donor hesitates.
Learn MoreA donor cultivation method built on dinners for eight, not galas. Half a day of live training. Leave with your table planned.
Learn MoreYou will not leave a coaching package with the work half done.
Come to the sessions, and bring the real situation rather than the tidy version. If we reach the last session and the thing you came to build is not built, we keep meeting until it is.
No extra fee. That is the whole point of working one to one.
